Andreas comes from a role as Chief Analyst at Nordea, and has previously held several senior positions and expert assignments, i.e. at the Swedish Ministry of Finance and the European Commission.
The Macro Research team is responsible for all global, regional and national macro analysis at Swedbank. The team consists of highly skilled and well-known experts, that among other things, is recognized for the Swedbank Economic Outlook (SEO); a quarterly recurrent report focusing on macro analysis of the Swedish and Baltic markets, the global economy and an in-depth analysis of current market factors.

Andreas Wallström will begin his new role at Swedbank in January 2019, and report to Group Chief Economist Anna Breman.
